A proactive approach for dancers and performing arts professionals to become mentally fit and emotionally strong. Interactive lectures and practical masterclasses presented in-person or via video link.

Founder & CEO of STEPPS CIO, psychotherapist, and former professional dancer. Interactive workshops are tailored for performing arts students (age 13+ through to professionals), dance teachers, coaches, physical therapists, dance science students, and parents.
Workshop Curriculum & Topics Covered
Recognising mental health symptoms and how they specifically manifest in performing artists. The session examines typical underlying stressors, environmental triggers, and mind-body connections in dance training.
Guided peer break-out groups allowing attendees to explore sensitive subjects safely: relationship with food, perfectionism, social media pressures, and body image self-assessment.
In-depth discussion on the relationship between emotional state and physical injuries—helping dancers navigate injury recovery rehabilitation while equipping them with tools to avoid future fatigue-induced injuries.
Targeted coping techniques and grounding exercises for high-stakes performing environments, audition panels, exam stress, and stage fright management.
Due to the sensitive nature of topics discussed, individual confidential 1-to-1 debrief sessions can be provided for attendees directly following each workshop.
